Lampe de plongée laser verte OrcaTorch D570-GL 2. 0 1500 lumens pour la plongée sous-marine

I am a working instructor on Roatan and recently purchased this light. I thought it would be a good combination of having a daytime light with a built in pointer. For that purpose it meets my expectations. The thing that I don’t find particularly practical is the on/off button. Unless you want to dive with the light on for long periods of time/the entirety of the dive, the button makes it difficult to continually turn on and off as and when you want to illuminate a crack or crevice. It’s very stiff and requires a pretty hard “double press” in quick succession to get a response. I would consider myself to have good manual dexterity due to my job and diving a sidemount system, however someone with less manual dexterity would likely struggle more so than I do.
It’s a good little torch and a great addition to my 6 additional torches from other leading brands, however the ease of use for me could certainly be improved upon.

Torch worked perfectly, the only problem I had was where to attach the torch to my BC. I like that I can signal my buddy with the green laser and point out fish and other Marine life without disturbing the fish. The fish don't mind.

The white light function is suitably bright for most cases and the laser is fun for pointing out discoveries to your dive buddies. I didn't get a chance to try the laser at night but I suspect it will be pretty cool. I kind of wish that there was a way to lock the laser on since keeping the button depressed requires a fair amount of pressure. I'm curious to see how well the laser works in fresh water with low viz. Overall so far this is a pretty useful dive light to have in your dive kit.

you can easily turn-on or off the light with a double click of the switch, and while the light is on can still activate the green laser to get a students attention or to point out an interesting item.
