I reached out with a few questions about the D630 v2 and shipping, and they went above and beyond in helping me. They have excellent customer service as well. I recently took the torch to Tulum for cave diving and it was doing an amazing job. Could not be happier with the product.

I purchased the Orcatorch D630 V2.0 to start my cave training because it was the most economical canister light with the burn time and brightness settings I wanted. But don’t let the price fool you, this is a robust and well performing light. I used it for my Intro to Cave and Full Cave training in North Florida for 12 days and then took it to Mexico to dive Cenotes for a week. It has and continues to work flawlessly after eight months and fifty or so dives. I’ve run it over 4 hours in a day on various settings on one charge. The adjustable cable makes it easy to route for any configuration I dive.

I was unfamiliar with canister lights for my profession and sought one with extended battery life. Taking a chance on this canister light proved worthwhile. During my dives, lasting between four and six hours, the battery endured the entire session on the high setting. I am delighted with my decision to acquire this light for my work.

I am presently here in the Dominican Republic with my wife. We will be here for four months where will be working part time as Scuba instructors/divemasters. There are also caves in the DR,we are both full cert cave divers.
Days before we left Canada to come here, my wife's Orca Torch D630 Canister light failed. I contacted Orca Torch and they managed to ship me the replacement parts in Canada before we left.
Having them shipped to the DR would have been a nightmare.
Orca Torch's service was highly appreciated, saving us time, money and probably several dives.
