I've been using the OrcaTorch D710 dive light for a few months now, and here’s my honest review.

Portability and Design
The D710 dive light is compact and portable, making it easy to slip into the pocket of my BCD. Even with a back-inflate BCD that has small pocket space, carrying this torch around is a breeze.

Light Settings
The torch features three main light settings, which are easily controlled with a single button. One click turns it on to 1,700 lumens. You can then switch to a middle light and a dimmer light at 400 lumens. Additionally, there's a secret fourth setting of 3,000 lumens, activated by pressing and holding the same button. Releasing the button returns the torch to the previous brightness setting. A final tap turns it off.

Locking Mechanism
To prevent accidental activation, you can lock the dive flashlight in the off position. This is crucial for avoiding battery drain or, worse, the flashlight turning on in your suitcase, which could lead to overheating. To lock it, press and hold the button for five seconds until you see a double flash. To unlock, double-click, and you'll see another double flash indicating it's ready to use again.

Performance
I've found the D710 dive light to be a high-quality product. It excels in illuminating nooks and crannies during daytime dives and is incredible for night dives on its brightest setting. The battery lasts about an hour and 40 minutes on the brightest setting. For daytime dives, where you might use it intermittently, you get over seven hours of battery life. I typically charge it about once a week.

Charging
Charging is convenient as the battery has a USB-C port, eliminating the need for a separate adapter. This is a significant advantage when traveling since I don’t need to pack extra chargers. The battery compartment screws back securely after charging.

Accessories
The dive flashlight comes in a handy travel pack that includes spare O-rings, a lanyard, and the D710 dive light and the 21700 5000mAh USB-C battery.

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the OrcaTorch D710 dive light. It's a reliable, well-designed dive light that I confidently recommend.
