Today, we share the story of Mickael Grasmuck and his discovery of OrcaTorch. Mickael, a 53-year-old French diver, enjoys exploring lakes and quarries in Belgium, as well as diving in the sea during his holidays. After nearly 30 years of participating in marathons and Ironman triathlons, he began diving in 2018.
His passion for marine biology grew quickly, and he became fascinated with understanding marine life, animals, and plants. Photography followed soon after, and today, he never dives without his camera. Mickael cherishes the atmosphere and the unique interaction between the diver and the creatures beneath the surface.
Having tested several brands of dive lights for exploration and photography, he eventually discovered OrcaTorch. The compact design, high-quality light, powerful performance, and impressive battery life made it the perfect fit for his needs. Mickael dives around 120 times a year, whether in the sea, lakes, or caves, and OrcaTorch lamps have been his trusted companions.
He has even introduced these lights to many of the divers he supervises, receiving only positive feedback. When asked about his favorite model, Mickael says, “Without a doubt, the D710 dive light!”
